Project 01
Children’s Bedroom Children can often have difficulty sorting and decluttering their items. These are skills that must be learned. This child got rid of several bags of toys willingly and without being bribed. They were completely involved in the project and have kept the space neat easily once everything was sorted and had a home.
Project 02
The Office. Most families have a spot where they hide things when life gets hectic. The office became that space for this client. Sometimes we inherit items when loved ones die or when children move out and don’t take all of their things with them. This was the case for this family. This space felt overwhelming and it was easy to close the door and save the project for another day. Fortunately this project was completed in an afternoon and the homeowners no longer had a silent to do list hanging over their head.
Project 03
Laundry - Laundry can quickly become overwhelming. This client needed mounds of clothes washed, dried, folded and put away. This meant closets and dressers needed to be organized to make keeping up with laundry a breeze. Adding labels and dividers means that anyone who does laundry knows exactly where everything goes.

Amanda Arcement, owner of OCD Hattiesburg. A born and raised Mississippi girl, she grew up on good cooking and southern hospitality. She brings a passion for decluttering and organizing to her work. Formerly a therapist with a Master’s Degree in Psychology from William Carey University (Back when it was William Carey College on the Coast - Go Crusaders!), Amanda’s specialty lies in helping individuals and families find personalized organizational solutions. Married to her best friend and a mother of one son and one daughter, she balances family life with her love of reading and dateline. Amanda can’t start the day without a checklist and a giant iced beverage and she never leaves the house without her schedule. Amanda’s superpower? She actually enjoys doing laundry. She is known for her love of sonic ice, margaritas and dad jokes. Amanda is a minimalist at heart.
